Our Story

Founded in 2010, Universal Beers are a Birmingham-based family-run business that have fast become one of the leading suppliers and distributors of soft drinks and alcoholic beverages to the licensed trade.

We are proud to have built this now well-established company from the ground up and can boast a vast portfolio of clients within the local hospitality industry, including bars, clubs, restaurants, hotels and pubs around the West Midlands and Worcestershire.


Customers can buy from us in full confidence as we hold an AWRS licence to wholesale from HMRC (Licence no. XRAW00000100805) which is a legal requirement for all UK wholesalers selling alcoholic beverages.

Our aim is to make the experience of ordering and receiving your inventory quick, easy and enjoyable so that it’s something you look forward to rather than being just another chore on your long list of things to do.

We work with a quick turn-around time with orders taking between 1 – 2 days to arrive, and we can do same-day delivery for smaller orders placed before 10am.

We offer free delivery when you spend at least £100 with us.

How Does it Work ?

We appreciate that inventory replenishment can be a tiresome task for those in the licenced trade, but it’s an essential and unavoidable part of the business. Hence, we’ve tried to make the process as simple as possible:


  • Once you get in contact with us, either by phone or email, you will be connected by one of our friendly advisors who will ask you a few questions to establish more about your business and what you need. 
  • You will then be assigned an account manager from your local area and be provided with a bespoke quote based on your specific requirements.
  • When you are ready to place your order, we will take payment and process it all for you.
  • You will have an account set up with us so that you can log-in and check the progress of your order and make any changes as and when you need to. 
  • Then, just sit back and wait for your Universal Beers delivery to arrive.


Once your order has arrived, it’s even easier to place your next one using your account and we are always on hand to assist you should you need any support from our team.
